Sarah Ashlee Barker is a professional women's basketball player who will play as a guard for the WNBA franchise Los Angeles Sparks. Born in 2001 in Birmingham, Alabama, Barker's basketball career started when she was in high school. She attended Spain Park High School in her home state of Alabama. She was one of the best high school athletes in her state and was also honored as the Gatorade Alabama Girls Basketball Player of the Year in 2019-20, as per her college roster.

She later began her collegiate career and played for two seasons with the Georgia Bulldogs Women's basketball team. As a freshman on her team, she averaged 5.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. After two years there, she returned to her home state to play college basketball for the Crimson Tide women's basketball team. In her final collegiate year in 2024/25, Barker missed five games and played 28 games. She led Alabama in scoring as she averaged 18.2 points per game. She was also named First Team All-SEC in her final year of college, as per her college roster.
