Stefanie Dolson is a professional women’s basketball player, who plays for the Washington Mystics as of September 2024. She was a student of Minisink Valley High School and was able to play both volleyball and basketball but chose the latter. Dolson’s high school success paved her way to the University of Connecticut (UConn) where she was instrumental in the team’s achievements. In her college, she contributed to the team’s victory in two NCAA Championships in 2013 and 2014 and was the recipient of the AAC Defensive Player of the Year and also the WBCA Defensive Player of the Year in 2014.

At the professional level, Dolson was selected 6th overall by the Washington Mystics in the 2014 WNBA draft. Some of the achievements that Dolson has recorded in her career include being named a WNBA All-Star two times (2015, 2017) and being part of the Team USA that won the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
