Natasha Cloud burst out on her official X (formerly Twitter) handle. The Phoenix Mercury star sent a string of messages addressed at her critics and spoke on racism and other social issues plaguing the league. She posted multiple tweets in threads speaking on the worsening condition of the league and warning the people who are behind it.
"Our league is beautiful, unique, diverse, powerful, entertaining, and full of badass talented women. However, you can take all that hateful s**t elsewhere," Cloud wrote in her tweet.
She started the tweet thread with a strong warning to the fans of "major young players" in the league and blamed them for spreading hate in the league.
"My recommendation for fans of all major young players. Take a deep breath, put your phone down, go outside and feel the sun. It will help with bringing y’all back to reality," Cloud tweeted.
In her follow-up post, she asked these fans to question themselves for the hate they spread and if they dared to say the same things without hiding behind a screen. The rest of the threads on her post followed a similar trajectory where the Mercury star praised the previous seasons of the league for being in a much better place socially than this season.
Cloud has been an avid speaker on issues surrounding the league in the past few seasons. Earlier this year, she called out male fans for not knowing the history of the league and asked them to either fully invest or stay quiet.
"I’m tired of hearing men talk about our league knowing nothing about our history. Invest or stfu. Respectfully," she wrote.
Natasha Cloud and the Phoenix Mercury's season ended after the Minnesota Lynx eliminated them in the first round of the playoffs 2-0.
Natasha Cloud flames Donald Trump
Last month, during the Presidential candidate debate, Phoenix Mercury star Natasha Cloud flamed the former President and Republican Party Presidential candidate Donald Trump and his fans. She expressed her thoughts through a post on her X handle.
"This y’all’s mans👀😂 Like yall really claiming him? He truly just rambles random ass sh** that is not true😂💀 Im talkin bout if this man said 2+2 was 5 y’all would go to hell defending this reality tv personality💀 whewwww yall different.
