Women's basketball at the 2024 Paris Olympics has officially begun. While Team USA is a heavy favorite in the quest for the gold medal, the world's biggest tournament will see the world's most prolific scorers outperform their opponents in the matchup against the best defenses in the world.

Stewart is one of the most prolific scorers in the WNBA history. The WNBA star represents a different class when she takes the floor. From dribbling and passing to shooting, Stewart is one of a kind in women’s basketball. She also led the WNBA in scoring during the 2022 season.
In her WNBA career, Stewart averages 20.7 points per game while shooting 47.0% from the field and 35.4% from the 3-point line. She averaged 8.1 points per game in the 2016 Rio Olympics and 15.0 points in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Emma Meesseman is one of the biggest sleeping stars in the Paris. In case it was not known, she was the leading scorer in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
Meesseman is a former WNBA player who now plays in the Euro League. Meesseman’s resume is as impressive and as versatile as any player in the tournament. She played eight years in the WNBA, won a title in 2019 and also won the Finals MVP award.
She is also a six-time Euro League champion, a two-time Euro League MVP and a Turkish Super League Finals MVP in 2023. In her last season in the WNBA with the Chicago Sky, Meesseman averaged 12.4 points per game while shooting 57.1% from the field. She led the Tokyo Olympics in scoring while she averaged 26.8 points per game.

Arguably the best player in the world, A'ja Wilson has a clear edge over other players in scoring, rebounding and blocks per game. Wilson will obviously be coach Cheryl Reeve’s first choice on the offensive end.
She is a two-time WNBA champion, a Finals MVP and a two-time league MVP. Wilson has played only seven years in the league and she has been an All-Star six times. The Las Vegas Aces star is a natural talent when it comes to scoring.
Wilson can score as a big, she can beat her defender with jump shots and she is as much a threat from the 3-point line. In her seventh season in the WNBA, Wilson is averaging 27.2 points per game on 52.2% shooting from the field and 39.5% shooting from the 3-point line.
She has been equally excellent in the Olympics. She was part of the Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. At just 24 years of age, Wilson averaged 16.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game in the tournament and won a gold medal.
