Caitlin Clark dropped her second career triple-double on Wednesday night to lead the Indiana Fever to their fifth straight win. Clark finished the game with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to seal a 93-86 victory over the visiting LA Sparks. The Fever are building a lot of momentum heading into their first playoff appearance since 2016.
Before the game, Clark was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month. She became the first rookie to take home Player of the Month honors. She has been remarkable since the season resumed after the 2024 Paris Olympics break, averaging 24.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game in August.

Caitlin Clark has been mostly known for her 3-point shooting, although she struggled with her shot at the start of her WNBA career. However, Clark has since shrugged off the physicality and adapted to the league.
She hit four 3-pointers on Wednesday to become the fastest player in WNBA history to record 100 3-pointers made. She is shooting 34.1% from beyond the arc this season while shooting 39.3% since the Olympics break.
#2. First player to have 200+ assists and 100+ 3PM in a WNBA season
In addition to hitting her 100th 3-pointer on Wednesday, Caitlin Clark also increased her total assists this season to 276, becoming the first player in WNBA history to have at least 100 assists and 100 3-point shots made in a season.
This stat shows that Clark is not just a lethal scorer and shooter, but also an excellent playmaker. She's currently leading the league in total assists and assists per game (8.4) this season.
#3. Youngest player in WNBA history to record multiple triple-doubles
At the age of 22, Clark is now the youngest player in WNBA history to have more than one triple-double. She already had the record for the youngest player to achieve the feat back in July, as well as the first rookie to do so.
Triple-doubles are rare in the WNBA, although Alyssa Thomas has been flirting with it almost every game. Clark is now in the same category of players who can drop a triple-double on any given night.
#4. Sixth player in WNBA history to have multiple career triple-doubles
Caitlin Clark joined an elite company following her second career triple-double as the sixth player in WNBA history to have multiple career triple-doubles, yet another historic accomplishment.
The five players to have more than one triple-double in their WNBA careers are Alyssa Thomas, Sabrina Ionescu, Candace Parker, Chelsea Gray and Courtney Williams.
#5. Tied with Breanna Stewart for most 20/5/5 games in a WNBA season
With 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, Clark tied Breanna Stewart's record for the most 20/5/5 games in a single WNBA season with 12. Stewart had 12 20/5/5 games last year and won the league MVP award.
Clark has a chance to break the record with six games left in the season. She has certainly climbed up in the MVP race, but Las Vegas Aces' A'ja Wilson is having a historic year. It would take an insane hail mary of a performance to put a dent in Wilson's campaign.
