Chicago Sky star Angel Reese surprised Megan Thee Stallion on stage during the rapper's performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago on Thursday.

Megan was wrapping up a performance when Reese emerged at the front of the stage. The rapper was visibly stunned and excited by the surprise as she embraced Reese, before signalling the start of her next song while the Sky rookie danced on stage.

Reese also shared her POV of the moment on her Instagram story, which featured a clip of her embracing the rapper.

"MY TWINNNNNNN 😍," Reese captioned her IG story.

This was not the first time that Reese appeared on stage at one of the rapper's concerts. Megan previously called up Reese to join her in the Chicago stop of her "Hot Girl Summer Tour" in May.

Angel Reese gives props to Megan Thee Stallion for hinting she's her basketball inspiration

During an episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast in early July, Megan Thee Stallion gave a shoutout to Angel Reese. The rapper shared that she has a basketball hoop in the back of her studio and that she refers to herself as Reese whenever she's playing.

"There's a goal in the back and sometimes I go back there and I'll be messing around. This is so random but I be thinking I'm really Angel Reese when I be back there," Megan said.

Reese gushed over Megan's mention of her and took to X/Twitter to share her immediate reaction.

"my stallion sister said what she saidddd.😭💞," Reese wrote as she reposted the clip.

Reese is one of the most influential players in the WNBA today and was named the league's Rookie of the Month for July. She averaged a double-double tally of 13.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 steals in the first half of her rookie season ahead of the Olympic break.

With Reese leading the way, the Chicago Sky are currently eighth in the league with a 10-14 record, having won five of their last 10 games. The star rookie seemed to have made the most of the short break and has made her way back to team training ahead of the second half of the season.
