Williams got the better of Ionescu in Game 1, scoring 23 points and shooting 9-18. Williams added five rebounds and as many assists, helping her team to a victory over Ionescu's Liberty and leading her team in scoring.
Sabrina Ionescu struggled in Game 1, shooting just 8-26 from the field and 3-9 from 3-point range. She also had three turnovers in a lackluster performance. Entering Game 2, Ionescu will look to improve her Game 1 slump, while Williams will seek to continue her strong play.

After stealing Game 1 in a 95-93 overtime win, the Minnesota Lynx enter Game 2 as a 7.5-point underdog on the road. New York will look to avenge their second loss of the postseason in 2024 and even the series at 1-1 going back to Minnesota.
The Lynx limited the Liberty offensively, holding them to just 37.8% shooting from the field and forcing 15 turnovers. The Liberty will have to clean up their mistakes to avoid going down 2-0 with the series headed to Minnesota.
