The Phantom is one of the four rifles that is available to all the players in Valorant. It is a primary weapon and is mostly used during rounds with full purchases. Like the Vandal, it sees a very high percentage of usage in both professional and casual matches. Thus, the developers have released a huge number of skins for this rifle. Below is a list of the five best Phantom skins in Valorant Episode 7.

Note: This list is subjective and reflects the writer's opinions.

Protocol 781-A, Neo Frontier, and 3 more Phantom skins that feel great to use in Valorant

1) Protocol 781-A Phantom

The Protocol 781-A is an Ultra edition collection that was released in January 2022 and features skins for the Phantom, Sheriff, Spectre, Bulldog and Melee. The Protocol Phantom comes with four variants: default, white/pink, red/blue, and green, at a price tag of 2475 VP (Valorant Points)

Valorant has always provided some amazing looking skins, and the Protocol bundle is definitely up there. All the weapons here have some of the best animations as the guns will grow into their actual size using intricate mechanisms and futuristic technology. It also has a very unique feature wherein the weapon, after being inspected, will speak to the players using its own voicelines like an assistant AI.

2) Neo Frontier Phantom

The Neo Frontier is an Exclusive edition collection, which was released in June 2023 and features skins for the Sheriff, Marshal, Phantom, Odin and Melee. With four different variants: default, gold, silver, and copper, it costs 2175 VP.

The Neo Frontier bundle saw instant success after its release. The developers put a heavy emphasis on its animations to truly try and make players feel like they were about to be part of a cowboy movie.

After reloading, the character model will spin the magazine in a stylish manner and attach it to the gun. There are also equip animations that will see the player spin the entire weapon itself. On top of all these detailed animations, the bundle also has some of the most satisfying kill sound effects in the game.

3) Radiant Entertainment System Phantom

The Radiant Entertainment System is an Ultra Edition collection that was released in April 2023, and featured skins for the Ghost, Operator, Phantom, Bulldog and Melee. Unlike the other Phantoms in the list, it is only available in three variants: Bazooka Badger, Dance Fever, and K.nock O.ut, coming in at a price of 2975 VP.

The most unique part of the Radiant Entertainment System collection is how each variant provides the player with a different kill finisher. All of them have been given features and details of the retro arcade games of the past. The sound effects are also done in the similar way. While this is a pretty expensive skin, it is certainly able to justify its own price.

4) Glitchpop Phantom

The Glitchpop is an Exclusive edition collection that has been released in two different versions in Valorant. The original was released in August 2020, whereas it's sequel was released in February 2021. The Glitchpop Phantom is from the 2.0 version that also features skins for the Classic, Vandal, Phantom, Operator, and Melee. With four different variants: default, blue, red, and gold, it is priced at 2175 VP.

The Glitchpop series is one of the more underrated ones in Valorant. The weapon's cyberpunk aesthetic with holographic stickers makes it a standout skinline in the game. The guns will 'glitch' out while reading or equipping, and they also have one of the most bombastic kill finishers.

5) BlastX Phantom

The BlastX is an Exclusive tier collection that was released in December 2020, and features skins for the Odin, Phantom, Spectre, Frenzy, and Melee. This skin is available in four variants: default green/white, yellow, pink, and black with a price of 2175 VP.

The BlastX collection is themed around toy guns that shoot foam bullets and are mostly used by kids. A unique feature is that players can see their bullets stuck on the walls. The kill sound effect is somewhat similar to the Prelude to Chaos skinline as it plays punk rock music, which makes getting frags that much more satisfying.
