ShahZaM to join MIBR as a stand-in for VCT Americas Stage 2

Ahead of VCT Americas Stage 2, ShahZaM is all set to join the MIBR roster as a stand-in player. A recent X post from the Brazilian org unveiled that several members of their team are facing visa issues, preventing them from flying to Los Angeles’ Riot Games Arena. As a result, MIBR has selected ShahZaM and Pa1nt as their stand-ins at the VCT tournament, replacing Rich and Palla respectively.

The prestigious American qualifier tournament will last from June 22, 2024, to July 21, 2024. Additionally, MIBR’s first match will be against the Chilean powerhouse Leviatan in week 1 of the regular season.

With that in mind., this article will shed some light on the current lineup and visa situation of MIBR before this VCT Americas Stage 2.


ShahZaM and Pa1nt will join as stand-ins for VCT Americas Stage 2

G2 Esports’ ShahZaM and Pa1nt, a prodigy from the tier 2 NA scene, get the chance to be the stand-in players for MIBR ahead of its matchup against Leviatan in VCT Americas Stage 2 and ensure a stellar start to its goal of participating in the VCT Champions Seoul 2024.

As mentioned earlier, MIBR’s primary Initiator Rich and duelist Palla have visa issues. As a result, they’re facing trouble to join the main roster in Los Angeles before their scheduled match. Hence, ShahZaM, and Pa1nt will be their stand-ins for an indefinite amount of time till the players resolve the visa issues.

However, the MIBR fans breathed a sigh of relief as the Brazilian org posted that the rest of the three regular players would be part of its squad. Having said that, with the two fresh stand-in players, the MIBR lineup will look like this:

  • Matheus “mazin” Araújo (IGL)
  • Arthur “artzin” Araujo
  • Felipe “liazzi” Galiazzi
  • Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan (Stand-in)
  • Amarri “Pa1nt” Peak (Stand-in)
  • Daniel "fRoD" Montaner (Head Coach)
