Riot Games recently launched the new RGX 11Z PRO 3.0 bundle in Valorant, which marks the third iteration of the famous RGX skins. Apart from the flashy and futuristic aesthetic of the skin line, many have highlighted its price. The bundle consists of three weapons namely the Outlaw, Sheriff, and melee. It is priced at 6,700 Valorant Points and sports three weapon skins.

User u/KasumiGotoTriss took to Reddit to share their frustration with the pricing of the new RGX 11Z PRO bundle. They believed it was overpriced and provided little value compared to numerous other skin lines:

"I just feel like they got the pricing for a 3-skin pack completely wrong, skins in Valorant have always been overpriced but this bundle makes other bundles look like a steal."

Redditor u/RuinedYuki questioned Riot Games' way of pricing its cosmetics:

"welcome to the time where riot games just does what they want because they know people will spend money on it, and they price it that high because they know it's going to sell a ton at that price they most likely wanted it higher but decided to settle at 6700."

u/CaptainTurtle3218 even went as far as calling the pricing "predatory", claiming Riot Games' approach was rather strategic as the bundle was released with the only premium Outlaw skin:

Meanwhile, u/Clear_Ad1944 believed that the RGX 11Z Pro bundle was priced so high because skin lines with four guns give the knife for free. They asserted that collections with fewer guns cannot afford to do the same, leading to the price bump:

"It’s bc bundles with 4 guns have the knife for free, the 2 skin melee bundles doesn’t do that . Simple"

Finally, user u/zarian100 asked players to just not buy the skin if they were against the prices. They felt that the expense may be reasonable for some.

Valorant RGX 3.0 bundle vs Champions 2024: Should players wait to buy the next skin line?

One of the biggest concerns players have with the new RGX bundle is that it has arrived right before the highly anticipated Champions 2024 collection. The Champions skins are the highest tier of exclusive cosmetics in Valorant.

Every year, around the time VCT Champions kicks off, Riot Games releases a rifle along with a melee skin. These collections are usually priced upwards of 6,000 Valorant Points. Champions Seoul will begin on August 1, 2024.

In such a case, it is best to wait for the exclusive Champions skins since the RGX 11Z Pro cosmetics will still appear in the store.
