Valorant: Complete Killjoy Abyss guide

A Killjoy Abyss guide is something players might be looking for if they wish to play the German Valorant Agent on the game's newest map. The map came out towards the end of Episode 8 Act 3 and is eligible for competitive play as of Episode 9 Act 1. Abyss is unique as it is the first map in Riot Games' character-based tactical shooter that doesn't have invisible boundaries protecting Agents from falling off the map.

Killjoy is one of the five Sentinel Agents in Valorant and thrives in smaller maps with tight spaces. This niche makes her less suited for the expansive proportions of Abyss. However, knowing the best Killjoy Abyss setups in Valorant can help you maximize her potential and derive suitable value out of her kit.

This Valorant Killjoy Abyss guide covers everything you need to know about both defensive and offensive setups using Killjoy on the new map.

While the A-site Turret and the first Turret for the B-site offer early information, spotting the enemy from far away, the second Turret for the B-site catches enemies off-guard once they are deeper into the site. You can use this either as a distraction to trigger Nanoswarms, swing with it, or both.

Note: As far as Turret positions for attacking are concerned, there are no idea positions. As Killjoy, you must be proactive with your utility placement as they will deactivate when you move out of range.

Moreover, given the number of different movement routes your team can take, it is best if you mix up your flank-watching tactics based on each round's strategy. This also stands for Killjoy's Alarmbot.
