Vyse is Valorant's most recent addition to the huge roster. She is the 25th Agent to be released in-game and comes under the Sentinel category. Among all the Agents available, Vyse is one of the most unique to be introduced in the game.

Vyse's abilities allow her to anchor sites by herself. With her signature ability, Arc Rose, she can also set her teammates up for easier duels. Her ultimate ability, Steel Garden is perhaps the most fascinating one as it affects a large area and takes away the primary weapons of every enemy affected by it.

With Vyse only recently being released in Valorant, players are still figuring out which maps she can be the most effective on. The teleportation map, Bind, can be a decent fit for her. This article will give some tips on how to defend and attack with Vyse on Bind in Valorant.

Valorant: Vyse Bind guide

Defending A-Site

The A-Site of Valorant's Bind has two entry points. One is from A Bath which has an ultimate orb while the other is from A Short. To stop or slow down the enemies from A Short, players can first put their Arc Rose right outside A Lamps.

This can be out from either A-Site or from A Lamps itself. This is possible as the Arc Rose can be placed on both sides of a wall. Players can then activate this flash ability to get information on if enemies are present in A Short or aid the teammates in getting an easy first blood.

A Razorvine can also be placed right in front of the teleport to slow down the enemies that might be pushing from A-Short to go inside the site. This Razorvine can be quite useful for your teammates playing in A Lamps as they can peek out to get an easy kill or inflict some damage to the enemy at the least.

Defending the push from A Bath is a lot easier as that area is quite narrow. Players can place their Shear right at the entrance of A Bath. After the Shear gets triggered, it will trap most enemies behind the wall which will make it easier to kill the isolated ones on the site.

A Razorvine can also be placed ahead of the Shear to be that next line of utility to hinder the remaining enemies that might push inside. This will be most useful for teammates playing behind the green boxes and A Tower to peek and get kills effortlessly.

Defending B-Site

The B-Site of Valorant's Bind also has its own two entrances. The first is from B Short to B Window. The second one is from B Long which resides in the second ultimate orb of the map.

To defend B Long, players can first place their Arc Rose from the B-Site for B Long. This flash would help provide more information on enemies in Long and help the teammate in B Garden get an easier kill.

Later, a Shear can also be placed right at the entrance of B Garden to try and isolate enemies that may be pushing from Long. While this is great for buying time, chances are the enemies might just end up rotating through the teleport to the A-Site.

A Razorvine can be placed right outside B Garden to stifle enemies trying to push into the B Site. While this is helpful for teammates on the site, it is most beneficial for the teammates that are in B Elbow as they can peak and get some multi-kills.

The last remaining Razorvine can be placed right outside B Window in the B-Site as it can help slow the enemies' execute significantly. This will help the teammates hiding in the back part of the site or those peeking from B Hall to take easier duels.

Attacking with Vyse on Bind

Due to Vyse being a Sentinel Agent in Valorant, she is not the most ideal for the attacking side. Her main job on this half of a match would be to slow down enemies from flooding into the site during retake situations using her Razorwines.

However, her Arc Rose can be useful to get information on enemies hiding in areas similar to Skye's Guiding Light. For example, Vyse can place her Arc Rose from B Short inside B Window to collate information on enemies that may be taking an aggressive angle. While they may not be flashed for a long time, it does guarantee information for the team.

As mentioned previously, Vyse Razorvines can be extremely useful to slow down enemies' retaking the site. For B-Site, they can be placed near B Halls as that can help control the back area of the site.

Another Razorvine can also be placed in the B-Site to stop the retake from B Elbow. This will help the teammates in B Garden get easier duels.

Similarly, on A-Site, one of the Razorvines can be placed somewhat between the green boxes to stop the retake from the back portion of the A-Site.

Meanwhile, the other can be placed right outside A Lamps as it can help stop the push from that area. This will also assist teammates in securing easy kills from A Short if they are playing post-plant locations.

The Shear can be a bit tricky to use on the attacking half. It can be most beneficial for getting information on a flank. For a B Site attack, it can be placed in B Window to hinder enemies that may try to quickly make their way from A to B using the teleport.

For an A Site attacking half, the Shear can be used in B Link to detect enemies who may try and flank from B Site to A Short

One aspect to note with these Shears is that they won't be as useful for flank as other Valorant's Sentinel abilities like Killjoy's Turret or Cypher's Trap wires. They will require your team to always be aware of a potential flank.
