The new Valorant Convergence skin collection will be one of the three skin lines featured in the upcoming Battlepass. The collection includes four weapons and other cosmetics, which can only be obtained by purchasing the Episode 9 Act 1 Battlepass for 1,000 Valorant Points. Since the collection is a part of the Battlepass, it will be released with the upcoming Valorant patch 9.0 which is set to arrive on June 25, 2024, or June 26 depending on your region.
However, as per the new rules introduced by the developers, the in-game content is set to be released one day after the patch arrives which means fans can expect the Valorant Convergence skin collection to be launched on June 26/June 27, 2024, depending on the region. This article will explore the Valorant Convergence skin collection in detail.
Valorant Convergence skin collection: Price, release date, variants
The Valorant Convergence skin collection will be an exclusive part of the upcoming Battlepass on June 26/June 27. So purchasing it is the only way to obtain these weapon skins which will likely never be seen in the store or during a Night Market event. That being said, fans can expect the collection to drop a day after patch 9.0.
Price and Variants in the Convergence collection
As mentioned before, the skins can be obtained by spending 1,000 VP and leveling up in the Battlepass tiers. Each skin will be available at different tiers and simply playing the game will help players unlock them.
The Convergence skins do not have any known variants and consist of the following cosmetics:
- Convergence Stinger
- Convergence Frenzy
- Convergence Phantom
- Convergence Marshal
- Convergence Card
- Convergence Gun Buddy
- Convergence Spray
These items belong to the paid track while other cosmetics like the Bubble Pop classic will be available to be claimed for free. Convergence is only one of the three skin lines introduced in Episode 9 Act 1 Battlepass. The other skin collections include the Bubble Pop collection and the Bumble Brigade Skin collection.
The base model of the Convergence skinset has a magnificent blue, black, and white finish. This gives the skin a rather easy-going look and perhaps it is perfectly suitable to the blue aura around the new map Abyss. Players will also be able to enjoy the map in the Competitive queue starting patch 9.0 onwards.
