The official trailer for Valorant Episode 9: COLLISION was released today, on June 24, 2024. This episode will introduce interesting content such as a new Battlepass and bundle. Moreover, Valorant Champions Seoul will also be held during this upcoming episode of the game. The trailer strongly focuses on the new map Abyss which is likely because the map will join the competitive queue after the release of Valorant patch 9.0.

This is our very first glimpse at what fans can expect from the Valorant Episode 9. Riot Games has previously promised new skins, maps, and even Agents, and the Evori Dreamwings bundle from the trailer is just the first of the many to come.

Trailer for Valorant Episode 9 showcases promising new details

The Valorant Episode 9 trailer opened up with a shot of the brand-new Agent, Clove. The next few scenes show a match being played out on Abyss with Agents such as Gekko, Iso, and Viper jumping into action. During the video, Riot Games also acknowledged the Valorant community by sharing clips from various cosplayers as well as fans.

The trailer was filled with scenes from Valorant Masters Shanghai, which was won by Gen.G. The show match during that event was the first time that many saw Abyss. Now, Valorant Champions Seoul is set to begin on August 1, 2024, and will end on August 25. The teams that will be featured on the grand stage have not been decided yet.

A very short scene in the trailer gives us a glimpse of the upcoming Evori Dreamwings Odin skin. This was, unfortunately, all that was revealed about the bundle apart from its name.

Finally, a new Battlepass is also set to be released, but it wasn't displayed in great detail during the trailer.

All of this upcoming new content will be released one day after patch 9.0 goes live, and this pattern will be followed for all the patches that come after. This includes major Agent changes, rank refreshes, and map changes among other updates. Furthermore, store updates will take 48 hours to go live after the patch becomes available in the game.

Fans can expect the Evori Dreamwings bundle to take about 48 hours before it becomes available in the game's store for purchase after a new patch launches. It is currently unclear if the bundle will be released during patch 9.0 or later on.
