Riot Games has officially announced the new Initiator Agent Tejo in Valorant, expanding the title's dynamic roster. The game achieved significant milestones in both esports viewership and player engagement in 2024. It became the most-viewed FPS esports title in the world, and had tens of millions of active monthly players throughout the year. We got the first glimpse of the new Agent in the 2025 Season Kickoff trailer that got the community hyped up.

Shortly after, Riot Games uploaded Agent Tejo's gameplay trailer, providing an in-depth look at his unique abilities and tactical approach. The trailer gained over 10,000 likes in less than an hour, with hundreds of comments as well.

Everything we know about Valorant's new Initiator Agent Tejo

The trailer opens with a site-entry gameplay that showcases how effective Tejo's abilities are for site control. His skills seem to focus on three primary things: gathering information, dealing damage, and disorienting the opponents. His addition to the active hero pool will increase the tally of Initiators in the game to seven.

As per the official blog by Riot Games on Xbox News, these are all the abilities of Agent Tejo:

Stealth Drone: Throw and possess a stealth drone that, upon activation, creates a small sonar pulse at its location.
Guided Salvo: Pull up a map to target one or more missiles towards a location. Upon reaching their location, the missiles explode twice, pushing enemies off of angles.
Special Delivery: Toss a grenade that bounces once (sticks to players immediately), sticks, then winds up and explodes. Explosion concusses.
Armageddon (Ultimate): Cast a wave of explosions, forcing enemies to move in the direction of your choosing.

Agent Tejo's introduction could significantly influence the high ELO meta in Valorant. His abilities are designed to disrupt enemy positions and make him an important asset in both offensive pushes and defensive holds.

This is everything we know about Tejo so far. The release date of this character has not been announced yet. Nevertheless, both of the trailers are very likely to excite the majority of the fans for the upcoming season update.
