Valorant’s newest Agent, Tejo, is set to release with Episode 10 Act 1 as the seventh Initiator in the game. The recent gameplay trailer reveals his kit to include high-tech military equipment. Through early access, a content creator named @LilGrizzly found something interesting about his missile ability, which is likely called Guided Salvo. They found that only one of these missiles was enough to take down Killjoy's ultimate, which they recently shared through an X post.
This article provides a brief introduction to the guided missile ability and how it can be used to destroy Killjoy’s ultimate, Lockdown.
Valorant’s newest Initiator easily counters Killjoy’s ultimate
A content creator named @LilGrizzly recently shared a video on X where they demonstrate a single guided missile from Tejo’s kit dealing enough damage to take down Killjoy’s ultimate, Lockdown.
To recognize the power of this ability, you must first understand how the missile is utilized. Tejo’s missile ability, possibly called Guided Salvo, is extremely easy to use. Upon pressing the ability key, a mini-map opens (similar to Clove or Brimstone) where you must click on the location you want the missile to detonate.
Based on the video, it is interesting how an ability so simple can destroy a round-winning ultimate like Lockdown.
For context, there are other abilities in the game that can destroy Killjoy’s ultimate. These include KAY/O’s FRAG/MENT and Raze’s Paint Shells, but they are incredibly difficult to land and require extreme precision.
Furthermore, what makes it even more game-breaking is that this is Tejo’s signature ability, which means it is available completely free of cost every single round. Finally, Tejo getting to use two charges of this missile seems somewhat overpowered.
It is important to note that Tejo has not yet been released and it might take some time before all his interactions can be judged and necessary changes made. However, if this interaction persists, Tejo just might be the perfect counter to Killjoy’s ultimate, Lockdown.
