Valorant's new Agent Tejo will be released on January 8 in North and South America, while the rest of the world will gain access to him on January 9, 2025. Tejo is a Colombian character who will take up the Initiator role in the game. From the trailer, it appears he will be adept at scouting for information and clearing corners to set up entries.

When does Valorant's Tejo come out across all regions?
In the Americas, Tejo will make his way into live servers after the game returns from maintenance on January 8, 2025. Those playing from Asia, EMEA, and Oceania will be able to access Tejo from January 9, 2025.
Here is a breakdown of the times when servers will go offline in different parts of the world:
- US (West): 6 am PT (January 8, 2025)
- US (East): 9 am ET (January 8, 2025)
- Brazil: 10 am UTC-3 (January 8, 2025)
- UK: 4 am GMT (January 9, 2025)
- Europe (Paris, Berlin, etc.): 5 am CET (January 9, 2025)
- India: 2:30 am IST (January 9, 2025)
- China (Beijing): 5 am CST (January 9, 2025) [tentative]
- Korea and Japan: 6 am KST/JST (January 9, 2025)
The servers will be back online two to four hours after the aforementioned times. The downloadable packet containing Tejo and other content like the Episode 10 Act 1 Battlepass will be available then.
What we know about Valorant's new Agent Tejo
Tejo is a Colombian Initiator Agent. His abilities are as follows:
- Stealth Drone: Throw and possess a stealth drone that, upon activation, creates a small sonar pulse at its location.
- Guided Salvo: Pull up a map to target one or more missiles toward a location. Upon reaching their location, the missiles explode twice, pushing enemies off of angles.
- Special Delivery: Toss a grenade that bounces once (sticks to players immediately), sticks, then winds up and explodes. Causes an explosion.
- Armageddon (Ultimate): Cast a wave of explosions, forcing enemies to move in the direction of your choosing.
