Stage 1 of VCT EMEA 2024 is well underway, and fans are loving the action-filled matches. 11 teams from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa region are competing to secure a spot at VCT Masters Shanghai. Out of these 11 teams, only the top three will be able to book their tickets to Shanghai.

Format
VCT is following a new format for this event. The teams are split into Group Alpha and Group Omega. They will compete in the group stage in best-of-three matches. Following the conclusion of these games, the top three from each group will advance to playoffs.
Performing well in the group stage matches and getting the top seed will grant that team a bye in the semifinals. In playoffs, the top six organizations will compete in a single-elimination bracket followed by a double-elimination bracket. The final matches of the event, the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final will be conducted in best-of-five format.
