CWG 2022: Sanket Sargar Wins Silver | Men's 55kg | Weightlifting | Journey To The Podium
Sanket Sargar, son of a tea-seller, won silver medal in weightlifting (men's 55kg category). It was India's first medal in the ongoing CWG 2022. Sanket hails from the Sangli district of Maharashtra. It was his maiden appearance at the Games and the 21-year old made it memorable!
