On the second day of the 2013 Senior World Wrestling Championship in Budapest, the Indian wrestler Mr. Bajrang, 60 Kg. weight category of Free Style also bagged Bronze medal for India.
In the qualification round, he lost the bout against Bulgarian wrestler Mr. Vladimirov Vladimir Dubov. As the Bulgarian wrestler reached the final, Mr. Bajrang got the chance for winning Bronze medal in his respective weight category and entered in repechages round for Bronze Medal. In the repechage round, he gave a remarkable performance and won the Bronze medal.
In the first bout of the repechage round, he defeated Japanese wrestler Mr. Shogo Maeda by 5-0 points. The next bout was with the Romanian wrestler Mr. Ivan Guidea and he defeated Romanian Wrestler by 10-3 points and qualified for the final of the Bronze medal. In the final, he defeated Mongolian wrestler Mr. Naym Ochir Enkhsaikhan by 9-2 points.
The bouts for the 74 Kg. of Free Style and 48 Kg. & 51 Kg. of Female Wrestling will be held tomorrow.
