Kurt Angle emerged as the winner in an enduring match

Two men who were considered to be fully accomplished in-ring wrestlers of the WWE during the early 2000′s, Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit, battled for the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble 2003. There was a lot of back and forth action as both men battled hard in a match that lasted more than 20 minutes. Even though, Kurt Angle’s side kicks in team angle – Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin, were eliminated from ringside, Kurt Angle fought back to win this match courtesy of his Ankle lock.
