In a singles match at No Way Out 2002, The Rock locked horns with The Undertaker in a battle for pride, respect and honour. The Undertaker was portraying his American Bad Ass gimmick during this period of time. The Rock had insulted Undertaker by referencing to his short stay in the 2002 Royal Rumble match. This led to altercations between these two, and hence this match came into existence. In an action filled match, The Rock defeated The Undertaker, fair and square. It also brought an end to this short yet entertaining feud.
