Chris Jericho and Jeff Hardy battled in the opening match of No Way Out 2003 in a singles match. In a fast paced match that featured plenty of reversals and near-falls, Chris Jericho emerged as the winner, by forcing Jeff Hardy to tap out to his Walls of Jericho. Jericho continued to inflict pain on Hardy even after getting the victory. ‘HBK’ Shawn Michaels came out to make the save but was countered by the entry of Christian.
