Soon to be WWE Hall of Famer – Edge and the late Eddie Guerrero faced off in a No Disqualification match on the 26/9/2002 episode of Friday Night SmackDown! Considered to be one of the best matches ever in Edge’s storied WWE career, this no disqualification match was a treat to watch. Edge emerged as the winner after hitting the Edge-cution. The fact that a heel Eddie Guerrero received a standing ovation from the crowd at the end of the match, is a testimony to the greatness of this match. This match enabled both these stars to prove that they belong at the top and imparted a belief in them that if given a chance, they could steal the show.
