Best of WWE #35: Shawn Michaels & Steve Austin vs British Bulldog & Owen Hart

Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold challenged Owen Hart and British Bulldog for the WWF Tag Team Championship on WWF Raw 26/5/1997

In a match that marked his in-ring return after a brief hiatus due to a knee injury, Shawn Michaels teamed up with the ‘Texas Rattlesnake’ Stone Cold Steve Austin to take on the members of Hart Foundation – Owen Hart and British Bulldog, for the WWF tag-team championship. This impromptu team with clashing ego’s was formed for only one reason – to challenge a common rival, Bret Hart. Owen and Bulldog were the members of Hart Foundation – a pro-Canadian faction, which was headed by Bret Hart. In an exciting match which was physical and fast paced, Shawn and Austin emerged victorious and were crowned as the new tag-team champions.
