An epic steel cage match held during WWF Raw event on 11/6/2001 at Richmond, Virginia saw Kurt Angle squaring off against Chris Benoit. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Benoit’s opponent at King of the Ring 2001 was at ringside doing color commentary. This turned out to be the main factor in deciding the outcome of the match. As Benoit was about to escape the cage through the door, Austin came and thwarted Benoit’s attempt. This indirectly helped Kurt Angle, who won the match by escaping the cage.
