Hell in a Cell: Predicting the card

Hello guys, I’m back from a long hiatus of revamping the win/loss record, and I just so happened to finish right after Night of Champions finished, which means that I get to throw in my two cents of what matches I think will happen at Hell In A Cell. Now remember, some of these matches are predictions, some of them are simply just ideas. Also, I usually don’t give myself the luxury of watching Raw before I write these, but this time it’s a little different, so prepare for a little bit of obviousness.

Booker T vs. Alberto Del RioThis pick might be one that people shrug off, but if you think about it, it could really work. Alberto Del Rio is probably gonna blame Booker for his loss at Night of Champions. Booker T (along with AJ) are also reportedly going to lose their GM spot soon. What better way for Booker to lose his job by losing to Del Rio? The set up is simple, Del Rio blames Booker, attacks him from behind, a match his made, and the stipulation “If Booker loses he has to step down as GM” can be put into place.

Eve vs. Kaitlyn vs. LaylaKaitlyn may have accidentally won her number one contender’s match (hence why the planned winner Eve replaced her at NOC), but her “attacked from behind” angle hints that she may stick around in the title picture a little bit longer. WWE says that Kaitlyn will be out of action for up to 6 weeks. That is probably bullshit. WWE knows that a returning Kaitlyn will get no pop whatsoever, so they will bring her back before that. Eve, who is no doubt the attacker, will end up being attacked by Kaitlyn when she comes back in a week or so. Layla also has a rematch clause. The pieces are already there for this Divas Triple Threat match.

Daniel Bryan & Kane vs. The Primetime Players vs. Sin Cara & Rey MysterioDaniel Bryan and Kane have garnered the most interest in the tag team division than anyone has in the past few years. Since they are the champions, they will no doubt defend their titles at HIAC. PTP has a beef with them, as they were the ones that took their number one contendership. PTP also attacked the new team of Mysterio and Sin Cara. Another match that already has all the pieces in place.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Brodus ClayAlthough Brodus failed to win the battle royal at NOC, he did attack Antonio the Smackdown before, and since Brodus has no feud and Cesaro has no feud, this seems like a match that will keep the two occupied for a while.

The Miz vs. RybackThis one is pretty obvious. Ryback destroyed the set of MizTV and gave the IC Champion a stare down. How obvious can you get?

Sheamus vs. Big ShowSheamus vs. Alberto is a feud that ended for good at Night of Champions. The next logical opponent for Sheamus would be Wade Barrett, but I think WWE is going to build him up a little bit more. So, after using my powers of imagination and fantasy booking (and reading some online reports), I think the next challenger for the World Title will be the recently absent Big Show. Also, we will probably get the most boring match of all time out of them.

CM Punk vs. John CenaIf you thought this match was not going to happen, you are stupid. Punk vs. Cena ended in a draw at NOC, and the only logical conclusion would be for them to face off again in a Hell In A Cell match.
