Money In The Bank 2012: Odds, wants, & predictions

Money In The Bank is close, and although it is going to be nowhere near as good as last year’s, there is still a lot of interest going into twoof the matches: Punk vs. Bryan & the Money In The Bank match (the one that has more than 4 guys). It’s time for me to tell you guys the odds for each match, including my own personal wants and predictions.

World Heavyweight Championship Money In The Bank Match

Odds: Toss up between Damien Sandow, Tyson Kidd, (sigh) Santino Marella, & Dolph Ziggler.

Want: For Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, or Tyson Kidd to win.

Prediction: Money In The Bank matches are the hardest matches to predict, because WWE puts a lot of deserving people in the match. This year is no different. Tyson Kidd could pull off an upset, or Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes could climb up and grab the briefcase. Those are the three most possible options, and out of all of them, I would have to say Dolph Ziggler is the most likely to win.

WWE Championship Money In The Bank Match

Odds: Toss up between Big Show and John Cena.

Prediction: Even though most will say that Cena is a shoe-in to win, I am actually going to say that good old Y2J will be the one to win the match he created in the first place.

Want: There are a few things I want in this match. First, I want more competitors. You could easily add Mysterio, Miz, or even the person who loses the World Heavyweight Championship match into the match. Secondly (and lastly), I want the Miz (who should hopefully be added to the match) to win. The Miz, even though he has won the briefcase before, really, REALLY needs that thing.

Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio

Odds: Sheamus is the odds on favorite to win.

Want: Even though I find Sheamus to be a boring champion, I want him to win. Why you ask? So the cleared to return Wade Barrett can make his return by beating up Sheamus after the match, setting up a SummerSlam match between the two European brawlers.

Prediction: Sheamus wins.

CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan

Odds: CM Punk is the favorite to win, but not by much.

Want: CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are currently my two favorite wrestlers in the WWE. So to see these two guys go at it is a huge treat for me (and everyone else). So when I have to make a decision of whom should hold the biggest prize in wrestling, it’s extremely difficult to choose. But, seeing as CM Punk has had a very long title reign and I want the best possible ending to the story, I am going to have to say that I want Daniel Bryan to win it. The only way I want this story with AJ to end, is with her standing in the middle of the ring with the new WWE Champion Daniel Bryan.

Prediction: CM Punk wins, feud continues.
