In the first ever ‘Money in the Bank’ Pay-per-view in 2010, eight superstars from the Smackdown brand namely Big Show, Kane, Matt Hardy, Christian, Kofi Kingston, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler, battled in a Money in the Bank ladder match for World Heavyweight Championship match contract. Kane, who had been involved in several Money in the Bank matches finally won it. He also enforced the contract successfully on the same night to become World Heavyweight Champion.
