Wade Barrett returning, Punk tweets, John Morrison facing TNA star and more

- Match Announced for SmackDown: SmackDown’s New General Manager Booker T announced that Cody Rhodes will face Sin Cara on Next Week’s episode of SmackDown (10 August 2012).

- Wade Barrett Returning: Wade Barrett will return to action during SmackDown’s Two-show Tour of Tokyo, Japan at Ryogoku Kokugika Next Week.

Barrett has been sidelined since the February 20 Raw. He suffered a partially dislocated elbow while catching Dolph Ziggler, who was thrown out of the ring by Big Show during a battle royal. During his time away from the ring, Barrett shot a supporting role in the WWE Studios film, Dead Man Down.- Punk Tweets since Turning Heel: CM Punk posted his first messages on his Twitter account since turning heel on the 1,000th episode of RAW. There was nothing earth-shattering, but he did mention that Dory Funk Jr. was at last night’s live event in Jacksonville, FL. Punk also said that last night’s crowd was “great.”

- Chris Jericho’s Favorite Match: Chris Jericho stated on his Twitter that his ladder match against Shawn Michaels in 2008 is his favorite match that he’s had, and that Shawn Michaels is the greatest wrestler of all time. He also revealed that his match with Pitbull #2 for the TV title was his favorite ECW match that he’s had.
