- Chris Jericho Suspension: According to a source within WWE, several company employees believe Chris Jericho was suspended for thirty days due to the act of denigrating the Brazilian flag at a Raw live event in São Paulo on May 24 for political reasons.
Linda McMahon is campaigning for U.S. Senator of Connecticut and many feel the organization suspended him out of concern over what the Connecticut media would think if they read a story online about their wrestlers defacing an international flag.
- Kane’s Romantic Hisory: AJ is not the only WWE Diva to have had their eye on Kane. WWE.com has published an article chronicling The Big Red Monster’s romantic history. Some of the divas profiled in the piece include Lita, Terri Runnels and Kelly Kelly.
- WWE-TNA Lawsuit Update: The Associate Press has published an update on the TNA – WWE lawsuit today.According to their report, WWE attorneys told Nashville Chancellor Ellen Hobbs Lyle that the company will not use confidential information from TNA, and that they have not contacted any of TNA’s contracted employees. - Reaction to WMD on McMohan: WWE.com has posted a video of Michael McGillicutty, Tyson Kidd, Jack Swagger and Jerry Lawler reacting to Big Show knocking out Vince McMahon during the Chairman’s return to Raw SuperShow.
- News on Randy Orton: According to a new F4WOnline.com report, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was said to be furious over Randy Orton’s “outspokenly indifferent” reaction to the news that he would have to serve a 60 day suspension for his second Wellness Policy violation.
Originally, WWE made the swift decision to suspend Orton so that he would be able to return in time for SummerSlam in August, however, because “something happened” to infuriate McMahon, there is now talk that Orton will not be brought back to the company at all following his 60 day benching.
Furthermore, it’s being said that some in WWE are not looking at Orton’s absence from TV as that big of a problem, as CM Punk, for the first time in his career, is now being looked at as the company’s number two babyface as opposed to Orton. Officials feel that the company’s babyface depth will not be an issue once Rey Mysterio returns, and joins the likes of Sheamus, Sin Cara and Christian on Smackdown. Additionally, WWE could turn Daniel Bryan babyface on a moments notice if need be.
