Maryse’s New Business: Former WWE Diva Maryse has launched her new jewelry line at HouseofMaryse.com. She’s received positive feedback on Twitter from current and former WWE Divas such as Eve Torres and The Bella Twins. The line currently consists of necklaces, rings and earrings.
Shelton Benjamin News: Former WWE star Shelton Benjamin is currently working in Japan but says he has no plans to join TNA anytime soon. He wrote on Twitter:
“Since so many keep asking, I have no plans to got to TNA. Not saying never. but no time soon. Don’t take that as a knock against TNA. Just though I’d throw that in cause people like to create bs out of a simple answer to a question.”
Orton not Wrestling at SummerSlam: WWE star Randy Orton told Twitter followers that he won’t be wrestling at SummerSlam. Orton was asked why he isn’t featured in the promo for the event. “Because unfortunately I’m not working”
Daniel Bryan’s YES! : Daniel Bryan noted in several media interviews that his inspiration for the “YES!” chants was UFC fighter Diego Sanchez. In a new interview with MMAFighting.com, Sanchez says Bryan is supporting him in a way and he has his back. Diego expressed interest in working with Bryan as his team has reached out to Bryan’s people. Sanchez said:
“My team has reached out to them and we’ll see what happens. We both are the ‘Yes’ men and if we could help each other that’s what it’s about. It’s about that positivity and motivating yourself to do things you could never do when unmotivated.”
Raw Angle Nixed: There was one idea brought up that would have seen Brock Lesnar attack Shawn Michaels at Monday’s RAW (06 August 2012) in San Antonio, Texas. The feeling was that there would be no better way to get heat on Lesnar than to have him beat up Shawn in his hometown.
That angle was nixed because they didn’t want Shawn getting beat up before the big post-RAW “HBK Appreciation Night” celebration that was planned with The Undertaker, Vince McMahon and others.
Kelly Kelly News: Although Kelly Kelly made her return to WWE TV Monday night on Raw (06 August 2012) , she has not committed to returning full-time to the company.
Kelly reportedly has not agreed to working a road schedule with WWE, and is only scheduled to work for the next 2 to 3 weeks. Following that, she is expected to make appearances as an ambassador to WWE.
