Over The Limit: Best of the best

Over The Limit managed to be a pretty good show. Even the John vs. John match was somewhat entertaining. Not main event entertaining, but good nonetheless. After every PPV, we give out a few awards, so why don’t we get started?
Best Match Award
The Best Match Award goes to the best match that took place at Over The Limit 2012
The match also featured some of the most painful looking
submissions we have seen in a while.
Winner: CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan
This one isn’t a shocker. Everyone knew Punk vs. Bryan was going to steal the show, and we got just that. In what was probably the most technical bout of the year, Punk and Bryan faced off in a spectacular match in front of a split crowd. The best part is that we are probably going to see more from the two, since it seems like we’re going to get a rematch at Over The Limit.
Best Feud Award
The Best Feud Award goes to the individuals who participated in a rivalry that culminated or progressed at Over The Limit 2012.
Wasn’t built up as well as John vs. John, but at least it
didn’t suck like John vs. John.
Winner: CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan
Although it wasn’t as progressed or developed as Cena vs. Laurinaitis, it was the most interesting one of them all. John vs. John was boring and predictable, and the Fatal 4 Way wasn’t very developed and somewhat thrown together, but Bryan vs. Punk managed to put a little bit of actual interest into it.
Best Diva Award
The Best Diva Award goes to the Diva who excelled the most at Over The Limit 2012 and the events leading up to it.
Doesn’t take much to win this one…
Winner: Layla
She won.
Biggest Loser Award
The Biggest Loser award goes to the individual who has failed the most at Over The Limit 2012 and the events leading up to it.
2012 was supposed to be the year
of Cody Rhodes
Winner (or loser): Cody Rhodes & Jack Swagger
…and Jack Swagger is just…Jack Swagger
For the first time ever, we have a tie. Cody Rhodes and Jack Swagger have both lost every match they have been in since Extreme Rules, and WWE has booked them both to be equally awful. Maybe next months guys…
Best Superstar
The Best Superstar award goes to the individual who has excelled the most at Over The Limit 2012 and the events leading up to it.
I think we can all agree Daniel Bryan is one of the
hottest commodities in all of wrestling right now.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
How over the top is Daniel Bryan? Not only has he been putting on some amazing matches, but he has been an amazing character. Heel or not, the crowd eats him up, and the WWE is definitely capitalizing on it.
