RAW Preview: WWE is taping this week’s edition of RAW (20 August 2012) from The Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA. The following is being advertised for the show:

-Fallout from SummerSlam PPV.

-Paul Heyman announced via WWE.COM that he and Brock Lesnar will be opening the show. According to WWE and the arena website, Triple H is also being advertised to appear.

-Despite rumors that he might be departing WWE following SummerSlam, Chris Jericho is being advertised to appear.

-The arena website is advertising John Cena vs Big Show in a NQ match as the event’s dark match main event.

- WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels teased an appearance on RAW. “Time for me to go,” Michaels wrote on Twitter on Sunday night. “I gotta make a few calls and see if I can get a satellite truck out here by tomorrow night.”

- Bret Hart to CM Punk: Bret Hart gave WWE Champion CM Punk props for his performance at tonight’s SummerSlam pay-per-view, writing on his Twitter, “@CMPunk Much respect to you.” Punk replied, “Just following your lead.”

- Ziggler wants Re-Match: After his loss to Chris Jericho at SummerSlam tonight, Dolph Ziggler posted a Tout demanding a rematch.“Congratulations Chris, you finally won the big one,” Ziggler said. “I say it was a fluke, and I’m not asking, I’m DEMANDING a rematch.”

- Shawn on Triple H: Shawn Michaels reacted to Brock Lesnar def. Triple H at SummerSlam on his Twitter account, writing, “What can be said…what a match, what brutality. Neither guy is gonna be the same after that one. Gotta give Hunter a call!!!”

Shawn Michaels noted on his Twitter that he spoke to Triple H after his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam tonight. Michaels hinted at Triple H calling it quits, writing, “Just talked to Hunter…let’s just say, I completely understand whats going through his head. We’ll just have to wait and see… I have to admit…I’m not entirely sure I’m comfortable just letting this go…”

- AJ Lee’s Plan for Kane: AJ Lee is promising consequences for Kane on RAW (20 August 2012) after he assaulted Josh Mathews at SummerSlam. Apparently those consequences will be anger management sessions like Daniel Bryan had a few weeks back.

- Triple H Update: Nobody within WWE expects Triple H to really be retiring from in-ring competition. The feeling is that Triple H still has many matches left. He’s expected to go away for a few months and then come back for a rematch against Brock Lesnar, possibly at Survivor Series. Taling about Lesnar word is that Brock Lesnar won’t wrestle again until the Survivor Series pay-per-view in November. Lesnar still has plenty of dates left on his contract.

- John Cena vs Rock Again? : The Rock vs. John Cena II is a strong possibility for WrestleMania 29 next year. Word is that Vince McMahon is the main one who wants the rematch to take place.

- Cena calls Punk Lucky: WWE’s website spoke with John Cena after failing to capture the WWE Title at SummerSlam. Cena was asked if CM Punk is the best in the world. Cena called Punk lucky and said he will try to get him on RAW.- Punk wrote the following on Twitter in response to Cena saying he got lucky with the SummerSlam win:

“I Love @JohnCena saying I got lucky. It’s not luck, it’s skill. With the odds against me, I won. Not once, but twice. Gotta #respect that.”

- Iron Sheik Speaks Again: WWE Legend The Iron Sheik recently spoke to WWE’s website about how he’s upset with Jinder Mahal using the Camel Clutch. Chavo Guerrero responded:

“Yes, theres only 1 @the_ironsheik & few apply the camel clutch as well as he did but theres only 1 person who invented it. Gory Guerrero!!”

- Del Rio files Complaint: Following the controversial decision in SummerSlam’s World Heavyweight Title Match, WWE announced that Alberto Del Rio has filed a formal complaint with SmackDown General Manager Booker T. WWE spoke with referee Mike Chioda and he admitted the mistake. Booker T has promised to address the matter on Friday’s SmackDown (24 August 2012).
