TNA has been under weather for some time recently. The company’s facing heavy financial troubles of late, that there were several speculations that TNA will fold soon. Several former talents left the company recently like rats fleeing a sinking ship. But lately, the talks about new investors interested in buying TNA has kept the company afloat and a glimmer of hope clings for the TNA fans.
But, the latest news doesn’t look that great. Recently, Wrestlinginc reported that Pop TV has not included Impact Wrestling in their up-fronts listing of 2016-2017. Pop TV’s up-front listing sent in March has failed to feature TNA’s Impact Wrestling program in their list. This has roused a fresh wave of speculations.
It is to be noted that Impact Wrestling is airing live on Pop TV on Tuesdays at 9 PM. Pop TV’s this report has caused concern among the fans that the company is not doing well. Even though, the recent signings of several former talents have re-boosted the confidence of wrestling fans that the company might stay afloat despite heavy financial troubles, this news looks really bad.
This may be an error on part of Pop TV, or this may also be an indication that Pop TV won’t be airing Impact Wrestling for a long time. TNA’s financial troubles have been well documented and if that features into this omission it would not be a major surprise to many.
Let’s hope this is just a overlooking on the part of Pop TV and nothing more than that.
