Who is returning to the WWE on January 2? Part 6 – The End Begins

This is the last of six articles analysing six cryptic videos that have aired over the past few weeks, leading up to the return of a WWE superstar on January 2nd, 2012.

We are just 24 hours away from finding out the ‘familiar force’ who has promised to arrive on the second day of 2012. The analysis of ‘It Begins’ ,‘Second’ , ‘Look Within’ , ‘Control’ and ‘Prophetless’ vignettes has helped us to shorten our list of prospective returnees down to 2 – Chris Jericho and Vince McMahon. I am going to analyse the last vignette from the point of view of these two men.

While the video was a rehashed version of the previous five vignettes, the speech was slightly different. It went like this,

“The force shall arrive to reclaim what is his. The powers that be will be shaken. The force shall arrive. Do you understand?”

The message is similar to the first and second ones. Once again we have the person described as a ‘force’. In the end, we had two slides showing ‘The End Begins’ and ‘Next Monday’. This vignette was aired on 26/12/11 episode of Raw, at the end of the opening segment involving CM Punk. Almost 3 out of the six videos have been aired or the link for the videos were shown during segments or matches involving CM Punk. This must certainly be a pointer for something.

As I had said earlier, if it is Chris Jericho, he’s returning to reclaim his stake as the best in the world at what he does. He would probably shake the current power in the WWE, CM Punk. This is a feud that is waiting to happen and if it doesn’t happen now, it will certainly happen sometime in future. Moreover, since the video ends with ‘End Begins’, it is obvious sign that it might be Chris Jericho returning again with the ‘End of the world’ gimmick. He already did the same gimmick during the turn of the millennium in 1999.

If we consider it to be Mr. McMahon, he is coming back to reclaim his rightful place in the company and hence the current powers like Triple H, John Laurinaitis and Teddy Long are bound to be shaken. Mr. McMahon’s return is the only other alternative to Chris Jericho’s third coming.

We have already ruled out the Undertaker because of ambiguities between his character and what the videos are claiming. I reiterate my stand that it is not the Undertaker. WWE brought back the Undertaker last year using such promos and hence they wouldn’t want to get repetitive with it.

My final prediction: SAVE US. Y2J

Mr. McMahon still has a chance since Vince McMahon has the power to decide until the final moment. After all, it is main reason why these videos were kept ambiguous.
