The 2012 Elimination Chamber event that took place at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin had a lot of drama attached to it. Th0ugh there were only five matches, there was plenty of action which kept the viewers interested throughout the show. Alberto Del Rio and Christian made their return from injuries during the segment involving Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis. Mark Henry joined the bandwagon proposing that John Laurinaitis should be the General Manager of both Raw and Smackdown. Besides, there weren’t any title changes in this event which is contrary to the nature of the Elimination Chamber matches which are considered to be the death-knell for champions. Here are the results in brief:
1. CM Punk retained his WWE Championship in the Raw Elimination Chamber match. Chris Jericho got injured midway through the match after falling on the cameraman outside the chamber.
2. Beth Phoenix defeated Tamina Snuka to retain her Divas championship
3. Daniel Bryan retained his World Heavyweight Championship in the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match. Sheamus came out and attacked Daniel Bryan after the match, signalling his intentions of going after the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 28.
