WWE Encyclopedia & DVD Update, CM Punk, AW as Raw GM? & more

- Kharma Note: Kharma is reportedly under a 90-day non-compete clause after being let go by WWE sometime in the past week.

- DVD Cover for MITB: The cover for the 2012 WWE Money in the Bank DVD features John Cena sitting on top of the ladder right after capturing the briefcase. Money in the Bank hits stores on August 14th.

- WWE Edits Match: WWE reportedly had to edit a Cody Rhodes vs. Tyson Kidd match that was taped this week for Superstars. The edits were done because they had to edit out the crowd chanting for Cody Rhodes as a babyface.

- Roddy Piper praises Punk: WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper continues to praise WWE Champion CM Punk. Piper says he is going to sit down with Punk at Monday’s big RAW and give him some advice for his troubles with Big Show. Piper wrote:

“Watched @CMPunk on Raw. A great job. I fought Andre so many times going to sit down with Punk at 1000 Raw a tell him a secret. He’s worh it!”

- Abraham Washingston for Raw GM ? : AW says he should be the new RAW General Manager. He wrote on Twitter :“I’m throwing my name in the hat for RAW GM. I’m the best qualified and suited for the position. “You can’t have R”AW” without AW. ?#Vote4Me”

- Jim Ross on Raw1000 : Jim Ross was asked on Twitter his thoughts on CM Punk wanting him to announce the Punk vs. John Cena WWE Title match on next week’s RAW. Ross replied that Punk was a “very bright dude.” Ross says he will be at RAW 1000 but does not know if he will be working the show on TV. He wrote last night:“I’m excited on being in St. L for #RAW1000 & seeing many old friends, WWE HOFers & Legends. Expect lots of surprises. RAW’s special 2 me.”

- Steve Austin on 1000th Raw ? : There is still no word on whether or not Steve Austin will be appearing on the 1,000th RAW episode. A source says that if Austin can get away from filming Grown Ups 2 then he may appear on RAW but when the date was first announced and brought up to him, there was a conflict.

- The Rock News: According to PWInsider.com, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is rumored to be contemplating competing in a match or two before WrestleMania XXIX on April 7, 2013 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.Johnson returns to Raw SuperShow on Raw 1000th episode. The last time “The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment” appeared on the program was more than three months ago, the night after he defeated John Cena at WrestleMania XXVIII, when he vowed to become WWE Champion again.

- Jimmy Snuka Releases book: WWE Legend Jimmy Snuka will release his book on December 1st of this year. “Superfly: The Jimmy Snuka Story” was written by Snuka and Jon Chattman with forewords by Roddy Piper and Mick Foley.
