This week's Raw had heavy focus on the imminent draft and brand-split. Now isn't necessarily the time for new storyline builds, due to the current uncertainty as far as where everyone will land.
I think they played it safe this week, without compromising entertainment. The Wyatt Compound segment was nicely put together and perfectly executed. While some will argue that "WWE stole the idea from TNA," don't buy it.
This is a story they've been putting together for quite some time, it just so happens that the time line fell together closely as it did.

As far as the Battleground main event, I know many are upset with Roman Reigns being allowed to keep his spot in the match. But, when you look at the bigger picture, it's something that really must play out.
Having all three Shield members involved is a primary component to the angle, but I completely understand the backlash.
All in all, this week's Raw did what it was supposed to do. We got some quality action and more importantly, there was emphasis placed on the upcoming changes.

Jonathan believes integrity is vital in journalism and ensures his work is high on accuracy. He conducts in-depth research and verifies information from various sources before curating a feature.

He grew up in Memphis, admiring Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan during WWE’s Golden Era in the ‘80s. He has attended many pro wrestling events and credits The Hulkster for making his childhood memorable.
Jonathan, a big fan of Bray Wyatt, would like to see the latter's brother, Bo Dallas, continue his legacy as Uncle Howdy. If he were to work on the storyline, Jonathan would book the return of Erick Rowan as Howdy’s muscle. He thinks it would be a great way to honor the former Universal Champion.
When not writing pro wrestling features, Jonathan likes to collect sports memorabilia and has amassed a large collection of event-used and autographed relics over the years.
