WWE Money in the Bank 2012 Results

The third annunal Money in the Bank PPV took place at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Here’s a look at how things panned out at the event.

Match 1: The WWE tag-team champions Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeated the Mexican duo of Hunico and Camacho during the Money in the Bank pre-show.

Match 2: Dolph Ziggler won the Money in the Bank ladder match for a World Heavyweight Championship match contract. He tried to cash it in immediately on Sheamus but the move was thwarted by Del Rio.

‘The Awesome one’ The Miz came out and announced that he was going to be a part of the Money in the Bank ladder match for a WWE Championship match contract.

Match 3: ‘The Great White’ Sheamus defeated Alberto Del Rio to retain his World Heavyweight Championship.

Match 4: Epico and Primo defeated the Prime Time Players Titus O’ Neil and Darren Young in a tag-team match.

Match 5: CM Punk defeated Daniel Bryan in a No-disqualification match for the WWE Championship with AJ as the special guest referee.

Match 6: Ryback defeated Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins in a 2 on 1 handicapped match.

Match 7: Layla, Kaitlyn and Tamina Snuka defeated Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Eve in a six divas tag-team match.

Match 8: John Cena defeated The Miz, Big Show, Chris Jericho and Kane in the Money in the Bank ladder match for a WWE Championship match contract.
