WWE RAW Preview February 13, 2012: Shawn Michaels returns

One of the most unpredictable WWE events of the year – The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, is just a week away. Hence, this week’s WWE Raw will be a go home show of epic proportions. With Shawn Michaels set to make his WWE comeback, there are a lot of things that we can expect from this week’s Raw.

HBK’s message to Triple H:

John Laurinaitis had announced last week that the ‘Heart Break Kid’ Shawn Michaels will be returning to Raw on 13/2/2012 and will deliver a message to Triple H. While it is likely to be regarding the Undertaker’s request for a rematch at Wrestlemania 28, Shawn himself might find a role in this match as a special guest referee. In all likelihood, he is set to be involved in the main angle on Raw.

John Laurinaitis is back as full time Manager:

The WWE board of directors have retained John Laurinaitis as the General Manager of Raw. Now that his job is secure, it will be interesting to see what Big Johnny does on Raw. What will be CM Punk‘s reaction to Johnny’s retention as manager?

Chris Jericho and CM Punk’s War of silence:

CM Punk and Chris Jericho have let their actions do the talking

The storyline involving CM Punk and Chris Jericho is set to be developed furthermore this week. While CM Punk gave Jericho a taste of his own medicine by staying mute, Jericho stole the victory from Punk in the six pack challenge to determine who enters the elimination chamber last in the WWE Championship match. Will we get to see the much awaited war of words between these great talkers?

R-Truth and Miz:

R-Truth was taken out injured after a flawed move over the top ropes over the Miz in the six pack challenge match, last week. Though Truth hasn’t suffered any major damage, WWE officials are currently at loggerheads with the Miz. Will this affect Miz’s intention of main-eventing Wrestlemania again? What kind of effect will that botch have on the Miz’s push?

Kane and John Cena:

John Cena wasn’t seen anywhere during last week’s show. Hopefully, we will get a reaction from him regarding his ambulance match with Kane at Elimination Chamber. This feud has been furthered this week, with John Cena attacking Kane during a press conference at Burj Khalifa, Dubai. What if Kane comes up with another devious method to force Cena to embrace the hate further? Will Cena resist or fall prey to Kane’s techniques?

Possible returns:

As we had reported earlier, this weeks Raw Supershow may feature the returns of Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio. Both men have been away for a while now and are likely to be featured in Wrestlemania 28. So, it would be ideal for them to start building their feuds from now on.

Elimination Chamber implications:

We will get to see confrontations between the elimination chamber participants ahead of the showdown, this weekend. Smackdown superstars who have been advertised to appear in this show include the World Heayweight Champion Daniel Bryan. We came expect some build-up to the Smackdown elimination Chamber match as well.

We have a power-packed Raw Supershow in store for us. Make sure that you don’t miss it.
