After an exciting Wrestlemania 28, WWE Monday Night Raw Supershow 2/4/2012 will be held at Miami, Florida. Wrestlemania 28 had some shocking developments which means that this show is bound to have plenty of Wrestlemania 28 fallout. Here is a brief preview to the show.
The Rock‘s Victory Celebration
In an epic ‘Once in a Lifetime match’ at Wrestlemania, The Rock defeated John Cena cleanly via pin-fall. Since the Rock hails from Miami we can expect ‘The Great One’ to make an appearance. With the WWE seriously contemplating the idea of announcing a Wrestlemania 29 match in advance, the question on everyone’s mind is whether The Rock will feature in it. The mystery will be solved on Monday night Raw.
What next for John Cena?
Being beaten fair and square by the Rock, what will the Cenation leader have in store for us on Raw? It can be said for sure that Cena cannot revert back to his original ‘Super Cena’ gimmick after this humiliating loss. He has changed his T-shirt (Once again!) but what really needs a change is his character. A possible heel turn in the offing?
Big Johnny is in-charge
Courtesy of his team’s victory at Wrestlemania, John Laurinaitis is now in-charge of both Raw and Smackdown. What does ‘Mr. Excitement’ have in store for us on Raw?
Zack Ryder response to the ‘blowski’ from the ‘hoeski’
Last night at Wrestlemania, Eve Torres distracted Zack Ryder during the 12-man tag-team match which allowed The Miz to take advantage and hit the skull-crushing-finale to gain the pin-fall victory. After the loss, Ryder was distraught and was hit with a low blow by Eve. What will be Ryder’s response to this blowski?
CM Punk‘s next challenger
CM Punk forced Chris Jericho to submit at Wrestlemania, thereby retaining his WWE Championship. Their match was expected to be a show-stealer but did not turn out to be so. But, with Extreme Rules just four weeks away, it is a possibility that we will have a rematch between these two at the next PPV. Moreover, the outcome of the match did not justify the build that the match had which probably means that this feud is likely to continue. Or does the WWE have other plans? With John Laurinaitis in-charge, Punk may get a new No.1 contender like Dolph Ziggler or The Miz.
10-man tag team match
Last week, it was announced that this week’s Raw will feature a 5-on-5 tag team match involving Wrestlemania opponents. The likely teams are John Cena/Randy Orton/CM Punk/Big Show/Sheamus and Mark Henry/Kane/Chris Jericho/Cody Rhodes/Daniel Bryan.
Lord Tensai to debut?
Over the past few weeks, a promo hyping the debut of ‘Lord Tensai’ has been aired. With Wrestlemania out of the way, we can expect the Japanese themed character ‘Lord Tensai’ to make his debut on Raw tomorrow. It has to be noted that Lord Tensai character is played by former WWE Wrestler Matt Bloom a.k.a A-Train.
Brock Lesnar/Batista to return?
Ten years ago, on the Raw after Wrestlemania 18, Brock Lesnar made his WWE debut. Can we expect him to return at Raw tomorrow? The answer is an emphatic YES. Both Brock Lesnar and Batista were expected to return at Wrestlemania 28 but it didn’t happen. They are in town and can be expected to be on Raw. Brock can be expected to interfere Rock’s celebration, thereby leading up to a match between these two. It is a possibility but nothing can be said for sure yet.
This week’s Monday Night Raw is a must watch. Wrestlemania fallout, debuts, returns – so many things are expected to happen on Raw. Don’t miss it!
