Come this Sunday, we will have a 30 man Royal Rumble with stars like John Cena and Sheamus participating in it. So with possible returns of legends and current unseen superstars, who is most likely to earn a ticket for a championship match at Wrestlemania 29?

5. Sheamus

The Celtic warrior, who has earned respect within a short period and has become one of the best brawlers in today’s wrestling, is my number 5 pick. Sheamus remained the World Heavyweight Champion for a long period until the Big Show ended his run. Big show however lost the title to Alberto Del Rio. So with a heavyweight title in Mania up for grabs, no other superstar other than Sheamus looks a perfect choice for WWE Creative Team and fans. A direct ticket to Wrestlemania for the Title Match is one which many fans hopefully want to see. Let’s see if someone can stop the Irishman.

This superstar recognised as the next Goldberg is the strongest wrestler currently in the whole of WWE. If not for Shield, Ryback would have been the WWE Champion easily by now. He has destroyed every single superstar both in a single and handicap match. Ryback has got a huge lift by the company, he can be the next big thing in the industry. However, Ryback winning the Rumble would leave him to pick The Rock or CM Punk in Wrestlemania. He might end Punk’s reign in Mania or look to finish the Great One one on one.

The dangerous trio of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, known as the Shield, has taken the WWE by storm. The most widely anticipated match last year in Mania between him and The Rock was a blockbuster. Rock may beat Punk for the title, leaving Cena only to win the Rumble and challenge him once again for the title shot. Cena hasn’t won something big other than a victory over Lesnar at the beginning of last year. So with Cena entering the Rumble match and eyeing the main event in Wrestlemania, who among the 29 can stop this superstar?

The most dangerous superstar who went missing, claiming to have left the industry, is the favourite to return in this Rumble and win it big. He is officially present in the Wrestlemania poster and this rumble return would be his ideal platform. Lesnar may challenge the Rock or Punk for the title shot and is most likely to emerge as the winner. This might happen as rumours say that his 1 year contract has been extended. So we might see him being the winner for a long time before someone ends his title reign.

So with just 1 week left for the most awaiting Royal Rumble, it’s going to be a real tough rumble in the middle of the ring. Possible returns of current superstars and legends of the past will be a treat to watch!
