WWE Smackdown Results 04/05/12

The World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus comes out to start of an explosive by telling the crowd how he loves to fight no matter where he has to fight. He says that the match at Extreme Rules was brutal and that Daniel Bryan nearly tore his shoulder off and he wants to finish the job tonight. Sheamus tells the crowd that earlier tonight he was asked if he wanted to fight Daniel Bryan. His answer was YES! The crowd starts going YES crazy and the YES man, Daniel Bryan himself comes down to the ring for the match.

Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio are arguing in the back about what happened earlier in front of Eve. Bryan claims he would have easily beaten Sheamus if it wasn’t for Del Rio, then demands a re-match against the champion. Eve snaps and says she has had enough and Bryan cautiously says he would not demand anything from her. Eve tells them that she’ll make a decision after talking to the trainers and tells them both to get out of the office.

Damien Sandow makes his long awaited debut against Derrick Bateman, but then says that Bateman is no better than any of them and he won’t face him. He goes in and Ryback comes out instead.

Matt Striker is waiting outside the trainer’s room for Sheamus, then Sheamus bursts out of the room and says he came to fight and that is what he will do.

Divas Champion Layla def. Natalya (Non-Title match)

Antonio Cesaro and Aksana are getting ready for a photoshoot, and Eve says they look great and they should get started. They start posing but Eve says Antonio is looking a little dry, and he needs to put on some oil. Eve says they don’t have to do it, and calls for Teddy Long, but he says he doesn’t want to do it. Eve tells him he hasn’t done anything all day, so he should start with the back, then Aksana tells him he needs to rub it on Antonio’s chest too.

AJ is shown backstage apologizing to Kaitlyn about slapping her, and she says it is not who she is and she has felt really lost lately. Kaitlyn says she is just trying to be her friend, but the pity party needs to stop, then AJ slaps her again and leaves.
