Yogeshwar Dutt, an INDIAN wrestler, a very known name to all Indian now a days & some of the world also. But the journey from an unknown village Sonipat to the grand stage of London Olympic was not very easy .Nobody thought a small village boy from Haryana can do this but the boy himself.
Yogeshwar was born on 11th December 1982 at Sonipat,Haryana. Inspired by Balraaj Pehlwaan he started wrestling at a very young age of 8 years under the guidance of coach Ramphal. He made his first presence felt for the first time by doing well in the Indian national wrestling championship in 1998. But he had to wait for his first glory in 2003 [one_third]Column Content[/one_third]he won the gold medal in common wealth championship. He also won the bronze medal in 60 kilogram category on the 15th asian games in Doha, he represented India in Beijing Olympics but he failed to earn any medal. But there is something before the end. He came back & won the gold medal in 2010 common wealth bank games in Delhi.
Then the glorious day came & Yogeshwar won the bronze medal in the London Olympics by beating North Korean Ri jong Myong in the free style 60 kg.
He got many awards recognisition rewards like
