Zack Ryder gets demoted due to low ratings

The Internet Wrestling Community was puzzled when all of a sudden ‘Long Island Iced Z’ Zack Ryder was involved in an angle with Eve Torres, this past week on Raw. Apparently, here’s the reason why that happened. The top brass of the WWE are unhappy over the dismal ratings that the main event of 19/12 Raw received. That main event involved CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Zack Ryder facing the team of Alberto Del Rio, The Miz and Dolph Ziggler. If you missed it, you can watch it now:

Usually, Raw does viewer ratings of around 3.0. The viewer ratings are usually high during the start of the show and the main event. But on 19/12 during the main event, the ratings abysmally dropped to around 2.6, which lead to discussions regarding the reasons for this drop. The match wasn’t that bad. It was actually good and the three titleholders were victorious which makes sense. But, the top brass of the WWE is of the opinion that they pushed Ryder too soon to the main event picture. Hence they have limited him to the mid-card level and for now they have given him an angle with Eve Torres, to take him out of the main event picture of Raw. #areyouseriousbro

Zack Ryder rose to prominence recently after the WWE became aware of true potential which came to the fore via his hit youtube show ‘Z True Long Island Story’. His funny wit, cool charisma and awesome mic skills got him to where he is now.
