The third Taolu World Cup 2024 is slated to take place on Sarurday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27, in Yokohama, Japan. The competition marks its return after a long hiatus as it was last played in 2018.
The athletes qualified for the event through the World Wush Championships 2023 and Wushu International Invitational Tournament 2024. Two hundred and eleven athletes from 27 nations will be in action at the third edition of the Taolu World Cup in Japan.
Across the previous two seasons, India have won two medals, including one silver and a bronze. They hold the joint-13th place in the overall medal tally.

India will have only one representative at the 3rd Taolu World Cup 2024 in Japan. Indian athlete Suraj Singh Mayanglambam is among the 10 participants in the Men's Changquan event, scheduled to be played on October 27 at 11:50am IST.
