Indians had plenty of cheer at the 7th international Wushu Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia. India walked away with one bronze and two silver medals.
The silver medallists were Punjab’s Rishav and Gujarat’s Krunal. Rushikesh, also from Gujarat had to be content with the bronze medal in the meet held at the Matve Sports Hall.
Indian team leader Shivendra Dubey was ecstatic with the result. Wushu originated from the traditional Chinese martial arts.
