#2 The Chosen One!
It's amazing to realize that Drew McIntyre was once a part of a group like 3MB and used to be involved in comedic bits. After being released from WWE in 2014, McIntyre completely changed himself - from his looks, to his attitude, to his wrestling style - and returned to the company in 2017 as a force to reckon with!
His Royal Rumble 2020 victory is a clear indication that the backstage officials view him highly and want to see him as one of their top Superstars in the years to come. In the above picture, we can see Triple H congratulating McIntyre after his victory. He has come a long way, hasn't he?
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
#1 "You think you know me"
Hands down, the biggest moment of Royal Rumble 2020 was the Rated-R Superstar, Edge's return to the ring after nearly nine years. It was in 2011, that he announced his retirement due to his severe neck injuries. While the rumors were floating around about a potential return, the Superstar himself kept on denying it.
But, as soon as the clock counted down to zero for the 21st entrant and the WWE Universe heard "You think you know me" out loud, all hell broke loose as Edge made his way to the ring and delivered a spear to Dolph Ziggler.
He then went on to eliminate 3 Superstars and was part of the final 3 surviving wrestlers in the ring. The above shot captures Edge backstage with his wife, Beth Phoenix, after the Rumble, who was also a surprise entrant in the Women's Royal Rumble match. What a return this was! It's true, never say never in this business.
