#6 Batista(c) vs John Cena - WWE Title (Extreme Rules 2010)

It took WWE a whole 5 years after 'Mania 21 to bring together their top two stars, Batista and John Cena, from that period for a sensible feud. While the two had a rather eventful one-off match at Summerslam 2008, there was no real animosity between the two at that time as both of them were fan favorites. A lot had changed by the time 'Mania 26 came around.

Not only was Batista in the middle of his impressive heel, there was a strong bad blood brewing between the two megastars. In what turned out to be Batista's final feud as an active wrestler, the two faced each other in 4 consecutive pay per view matches for the WWE title, including a match at 'Mania and this Last Man Standing Match at Extreme Rules

Fondly remembered for its finish, this match was their best outing together. Equally balanced throughout, both competitors tried their best to keep other down. Despite taking a lot of punishment, including going through 2 tables and the barricade, Cena fought back to win the match by wrapping Batista's leg around the ring post with a duct tape and preventing him from getting on his feet.
